abstract minimalism

I am a minimalist. Less is more. In my painting as well as life itself. I like to subtract rather than add. There is enough of it, stuff and noice, fighting and fear. I want to contribute to something opposite of this. Bring more air and light into our senses. A feeling that leads to some kind of peace. I often feel drawned to simple compositions, negative forms and empty spaces. I like color palettes that harmonizes together and often I aim to manage contrasts with similar valeurs. Neon colors and bright pastels are favorite play tools to create new and rare nuances, a signature in my expression.
